These are the seven domestic companies that most impressed our judges for creating robust internal cultures of innovation.

Winner: InVision Communications

In order to convince clients it possessed the tech prowess to produce immersive experiences, the global events company ran with an idea proposed by one member of its innovation team. The result, the Innovation Playground, features more than 15 different activations, including augmented reality, haptics, and holographic technology, which bring to life the three attributes of a metaverse-like experience: immersive, personalized, and persistent. Since its launch in Q3 2022, the Innovation Playground has produced six workshops across the country for Fortune 500 brands, including Amazon, Box, and Dell.
