Eduardo A. Braniff is the CEO for Imagination The Americas. He assumed this role at the independent, global, creative agency, which is recognized as a leader in experiential marketing, in April of 2011 and will focus on the development of business across existing offices in New York and Detroit, and growing Imagination’s presence in Toronto and Los Angeles. Recognized within the organization as a leader with the ability to spot strategic opportunities for growth and developing valuable relationships with clients, he will also oversee the company’s expansion into additional cities. Eduardo will continue to drive Imagination’s mission to transform business through creativity.
Eduardo has spent the last eleven years with Imagination, where he started as a writer and strategist, and assumed the role of Co-Creative Director in 2003. In 2008, he was tapped for the role of Global Insights Director and also assumed the role of Group Board Director. At that time, his responsibilities included defining the organization’s annualized strategic goals and developing the company’s proprietary branding and communications products and methodologies.
During his time with Imagination, Eduardo has worked on a diverse range of projects including consumer and brand strategy, film, multimedia, retail and live events. Some of the projects include Neutrogena’s positioning; the Samsung Experience, NYC; Ford Motor Company's Annual Spring Dealer meeting; JetBlue’s Orientation; Coca-Cola's annual shareowners' meeting at Madison Square Garden, NYC; and NASDAQ's iconic daily Market Open Ceremony.
Prior to joining Imagination, Eduardo spent six years at MTV: Music Television where he worked as a producer before founding their book division in partnership with Simon & Schuster. He was also an independent film producer whose credits include Kissing Jessica Stein and Picture This. Eduardo is a graduate of Yale University.
Eduardo is actively involved in the arts in New York and Los Angeles. He currently sits on the board of AIGA LA, the Professional Association of Design, and served as Chair of the junior board of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
