With a background in human rights and non-profit work, Clare ran a start-up in London supporting young people into sustained employment before joining ClearlySo. ClearlySo focuses on impact investment, working with high-growth businesses and charities to scale their social impact. it also runs the UK's first impact investing angel group, Clearly Social Angels. Clare studied at the University of Cambridge, with her Master's degree focused on the British response to human trafficking; she continues to work closely with survivors of violence, including through night outreach work with vulnerable women in South London. She sits on the Board of Tiny Diner, which supports victims of violence and trafficking through selling healthy, organic baby food, and is interested in how innovative, impact-focused businesses can change the world.
