NASA Orbit Pavilion

The NASA Orbit Pavilion is a nautilus-shaped metal shell where visitors can “listen to space.” Inspired by the childhood delight of hearing the ocean in a shell, the Orbit Pavilion enables visitors to experience a 3D soundscape that represents the sounds of NASA satellites as they journey through space. The satellites’ locations are transmitted in real time to the Pavilion and translated into sound.
