Sarah Schaaf is the community director at Imgur, nurturing the site’s 150 million monthly active users. By immersing herself in the site's unique culture, she is able to serve as an advocate for the community within the company, helping to develop products and services that best meet their needs. Schaaf has been critical to Imgur’s success: She’s been at the company since 2011 (her brother founded it in 2009), helping to turn it into one of the most-visited sites on the web. Imgur currently sees more than 75 billion views per month, which works out to an average of 2.5 billion images viewed every day. As Imgur continues to mature, Schaaf is helping to transition users to its new mobile platform. Her team is also helping to clean up obscene content as the company begins to introduce native ads.
