Max Siegel is a sports and entertainment executive and entrepreneur whose work covers a remarkable breadth. Since 2012, he’s been the CEO of USA Track & Field, the sports governing body, where he has led a rapid turnaround, dramatically increasing revenue and expanding programming. Previously, he was the highest-ranking African American in NASCAR. As the owner of Rev Racing, he led the sport’s efforts to diversify and develop minority drivers. He was also president of global operations for Dale Earnhardt Inc. Before turning to sports, Siegel worked in music, as a senior vice president at Sony/BMG, and was president of Zomba Gospel, one of the company’s most profitable divisions. Over the years, he has helped oversee the careers of pro athletes, including Hall of Famers Reggie White and Tony Gwynn, and artists including Justin Timberlake, NSync, and Usher. He has also worked as a TV producer, developing a BET series and an ESPN documentary.
