Kay Madati is global vice president and head of content partnerships at Twitter, where he oversees the company’s push into creating live video content with partners such as BuzzFeed, Bloomberg, and Vox Media. In 2018, Twitter partnered with People.com, IMDb, and Vanity Fair to create a three-part live program tied to the Academy Awards, including a live stream of Vanity Fair’s post-Oscars party. Twitter also worked with CBS Sports to create unique, live video content for the FIFA World Cup.
Madati has also worked at CNN Worldwide, where he helped integrate social media with CNN’s daily programming across multiple programs, and at Facebook, where he led the team that helped position the company as a key strategic partner for digital and social solutions with entertainment companies. Before joining Twitter, Madati served as executive vice president and chief digital officer at BET Networks.
