Chelsea Handler's first television stint came in 2002, with Oxygen’s Girls Behaving Badly. Since then, Handler has embraced blunt and bawdy TV roles. The stand-up comedian truly made a name for herself during her seven years as host of late-night talk show Chelsea Lately on E!, which drew close a million viewers per episode. A reality TV-inspired spin-off, After Lately, aired from 2011 to 2013. In 2015, Handler moved to Netflix for a four-part documentary series, Chelsea Does, and a new talk show, Chelsea.
Handler has written several nonfiction books, including My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands; Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea; Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang; Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me; and Uganda Be Kidding Me.
