Andrew Ross Sorkin is a columnist for The New York Times and is assistant editor of the paper’s business and finance news. In 2001, he founded DealBook, an online daily financial report. Sorkin is also co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box and author of Too Big to Fail: How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System—and Themselves, which examined the factors that led to the 2008 economic crisis. The subsequent HBO film adaptation in 2011 was nominated for 11 Emmy Awards.

Sorkin is also co-creator and executive producer for Showtime’s drama series Billions.
