Ever since the Toronto-based financial services and investing app company ventured south to New York in 2016, it has purposely been branding itself as a financial services platform for millennials, by millennials. Its goal: to be more human than a bank or other legacy finance firms. In 2018, the brand continued that work, branching its online magazine, headed up by former GQ editor Devin Friedman, into a broadsheet print mag while continuing to release more of its compelling Money Diaries, featuring a mix of real people and celebrities--including the late Anthony Bourdain, Brian Tyree-Henry, Aubrey Plaza, and Kylie Jenner--real talking about money, and the challenges, anxieties, and opportunities it provides.
