Stackla for Good is the nonprofit-focused division of Stackla, a social media sentiment aggregator that allows companies to track what’s being said about them through hashtags or keywords on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. This user-generated content can be captured and re-shared through a brand-associated newsfeed, custom ads, or separate promotional site. Since being founded in 2012, the company has worked with Disney, Ford, and Absolute Vodka, but also over 30 nonprofits including Greenpeace, No Kid Hungry, and the ACLU. Its 2015 campaign for ONE, a nonprofit against poverty in Africa, which included photos of women flexing (#Strengthie) or mentioning others who encouraged them (#WithStrongGirls), spurred 1 million people to sign a petition for making gender equality as a UN sustainable development goal. In August 2017 the company formalized the division, promising to award 10% of associated service fees annually to its most inventive campaign.
