In 2016, Netscout and its ad agency Pereira O'Dell NY enlisted renowned German director Werner Herzog to direct a documentary web series that would explore the various issues facing our connected world. But Herzog was so intrigued by the project that he ended up proposing it as feature film. Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World became a Sundance hit that scored a distribution deal with Magnolia Pictures and a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes—not too shabby for a B2B marketing strategy.
