G Adventures

Founded in 1990 by Bruce Poon Tip, G Adventures offers small-group trips (between 10 to 16 people) lead by local guides to destinations around the world. The company has a reputation for bringing travelers into local communities and showcasing experiences beyond the well-trod tourist path. These efforts are aided by the company’s nonprofit partner, the Planeterra Foundation, which supports social enterprises in the destinations G Adventures visits. In 2017, G Adventures purchased British cruise lines Swan Hellenic and bus-tour company Voyages of Discovery to scale up its “travel with purpose” mission.
