Fluxx, a cloud-based grants management company, allows nonprofits and foundations to organize around sets of mission-related key performance indicators, an underused concept in the philanthropy world. That allows big-name funders like Ford, MacArthur, and Kresge to solicit grants through an automated process.
In October 2018 Fluxx revealed a network to connect the organizations who fund change with people making change. The goal is to discover one another, collaborate, disburse funds, and maximize impact. This represents a culmination of its vision to establish an ecosystem around the grant and philanthropic community.
In June 2017, Fluxx first offered nonprofits a single template to apply for multiple grants at once. Once a grant is made, both funder and recipient can share important data about the related program’s progress through a separate dashboard in order to quickly spot and adjust for errors. Since being founded in 2010, Fluxx has received $26 million in venture funding and served over 200 foundations, corporate and government grant makers, and large nonprofits that redistribute money, processing over $7 billion in annually in grants. The goal is ultimately to save everyone time and money in a way that can ultimately improve more lives.
