Brazil-based fashion and lifestyle site Dafiti is the fastest-growing e-commerce brand in the region, with sales rising 150% from 2011 to 2013. Dafiti was founded in 2010 and now reaches 50 million unique visitors a month with online stores in five countries: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. The company has also raised $250 million, which it has used to invest in tech solutions to make customers' buying experiences better. One of these solutions is the use of Apple's iBeacon technology to target promotions toward people in specific areas. Another is a partnership with Metail that allows customers to try on clothes virtually and therefore be more confident when making online purchases, which led to a 30% increase in sales. Dafiti has also signed on supermodel Alessandra Ambrosis to promote its new line, the "Dafiti Collection," and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in early 2015.
