Coach

The World's Most Innovative Companies 2017

Creative director Stuart Vevers, formerly of Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, has rebranded Coach into a millennial-friendly fashion house. Coach’s recent runway shows reflect a vintage, bohemian sensibility mixed with Americana that reflects the brand’s heritage. In November 2016, Coach launched a new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, designed in partnership with William Sofield, that reflects the company’s efforts to reclaim the luxury experience. Coach's financials are also showing signs of a turnaround. In the 2016 fiscal year, Coach saw a 3% profit growth and 7% revenue growth, which is impressive given that the brand has been deliberately pulling products from lower-end stores and limiting overall supply as it refocuses on luxury.
