The direct-to-consumer luggage company Away, known for its ultra-functional hard-side roller bags, has been growing quickly since its 2016 launch.
Away has deftly used partnerships to test limited-edition products and create unique opportunities. Away worked with Karlie Kloss in April 2018, launching The Cube Case for managing cables and The Backpack as an everyday carry.
In 2018, Away did expand its product line with The Travel Uniform—a holistic concept that includes several natural extensions of its luggage business such as The Everywhere Bag, The Signature Garment Bag, The Dopp Kit, and The Insider Packing Cubes.
The company also debuted in Europe and now ships its products to dozens of countries. It also added its first retail location in London, then added new stores in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, and Austin.
