A disturbing story has been unfolding before our eyes over the past few weeks. I am talking about the hit HBO show White Lotus, which is hurtling towards its fateful end with maddening speed. How the story will play out remains unclear, but another story has been unfolding, too, with a riveting beginning, middle, and end all squeezed into 90 frisky seconds.
