The image saving and sharing site was one of the few Western social media sites that remained accessible in the country, reports TechCrunch. Not anymore. Apparently Pinterest.com has been unavailable in China for the past week, notes GreatFire. It’s not clear at this time why Pinterest has been blocked, but it’s possible the Chinese government did not like some of the images being pinned on the site.
