Starbucks unveiled a new limited-edition cup this week designed to represent our shared humanity and connection, and some people really, really hate it. On the cup, a single line connects a coffee farmer, family, barista, and friends embracing. Ultimately creating an image of more than hundred people on a single cup, all connected by a single line.
“During a divisive time in our country, Starbucks wanted to create a symbol of unity as a reminder of our shared values, and the need to be good to each other,” Starbucks chairman and CEO Howard Schultz said in a statement.
