VR: where YouTube stars go when they grow up

Google really wants Daydream to be a hit.

That’s why it’s spending up to hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece to recruit some of the Web’s biggest video stars for its forthcoming virtual reality initiative, Bloomberg reported today.

Among the stars the company has brought on board, Bloomberg said, are iJustine and the Dolan twins, and Google is also planning on touting VR projects from Hulu. In addition, it is said to be inking deals for VR content with video game makers and sports leagues.DT
