U.S. District Judge Edward Chen in San Francisco has rejected a proposed settlement in a class-action lawsuit brought by Uber drivers. In the lawsuit, drivers allege that Uber misclassified them as independent workers while treating them as employees. Uber had agreed to pay up to $100 million to drivers in California and Massachusetts to settle the case.SK
