The new system is reported to have four additional radar modules–one for each corner of the car, reports Electrek. That’s up from the one on the front of the vehicle now. It will also bump the number of front-facing cameras from one to three. As for when it’s coming, Electrek’s sources couldn’t be certain, but recently Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that autonomous driving is coming “sooner than people think.”
