Chinese malware strikes 10 million Android phones, researchers say

Researchers have found nearly 10 million Android phones are infected with malware made by a group of Chinese developers, CNet reports. The software, dubbed HummingBad, downloads additional apps and automatically clicks on ads, generating up to $300,000 a month in revenue for its developers, according to a report from security firm Check Point.
