The ambitious goal was revealed by Uber China’s senior vice president of strategy Liu Zhen, the Wall Street Journal reports. Liu noted that last year Uber only had a 1% market share in the country but now controls over a third of the market. With more Internet users and the largest population in the world, Liu said that China is “absolutely” Uber’s most important market in the world now.
