Match Group’s quarterly earnings of $285.3 million topped analysts’ expectations, sending the stock up as much as 10% in after-hours trading, as Match’s Tinder recorded more than 1 million paid subscribers in the quarter, Bloomberg reports.
In addition to Tinder, Match owns OKCupid, PlentyOfFish and, of course, the 20-year-old Match.com, which, I discovered last year, used to accept mailed-in Polaroids before its customers had digital cameras.
