The social network is making businesses more accessible via Messenger, by surfacing user names for their pages and making available URLs and scannable codes that will automatically direct users to a message thread with the business in question. The eventual goal, as Facebook has already said, is to make Messenger a one-stop shop for all your communication needs—which is why the company wants to make it easy for people to interface with the stores they frequent.
