An Israeli firm is reportedly the mystery company helping the FBI crack that iPhone

Cellebrite, a provider of mobile forensic software, is helping U.S. law enforcement unlock the iPhone used by Syed Farook in the San Bernardino shooting, reported Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper this morning. The firm’s participation prompted the Justice Department to postpone a hearing scheduled for Tuesday in its bitter legal battle with Apple over the government’s attempt to force Apple to unlock the phone.

If Cellebrite succeeds, the FBI no longer needs the help of Apple, notes Reuters.
