Amazon has upped its free shipping minimum for non-Prime members again, from $35 to $49 for an order to qualify. The company last did so in 2013, when it increased the number from $25 to $35. Customers who buy books that Amazon deems eligible, however, can score free shipping with an order of just $25.

Prime members, of course, can still get free two-day shipping for most products, a perk that is included in the $99 U.S. subscription.
