Well I don’t know about you, but I have had a lovely week ignoring the Present of Journalism. However, cartoon week is drawing to a close, and perhaps it behooves us to consider the Future of Journalism. So here is Susie Cagle, presenting two possible futures, which I think are both pretty optimistic.

Susie Cagle is a 2015-2016 John S. Knight Journalism fellow at Stanford, where she researches labor shifts, employment trends, and sustainable cooperative models to support freelance workers in media and other industries. Her work has been published all over the place and she is currently working on an illustrated book about boom and bust economics in California.

Today in Tabs Cartoon Week was brought to you by Fast Company, or you may subscribe by email. Thanks to our guest writer / illustrators Hallie Bateman, Jack Sjogren, Matt Lubchansky, and Susie Cagle! Remember to support your local cartoonist. That’s it for cartoon week, Rusty will be back next week!
