To celebrate the launch of the Most Creative People in Business 1000, Fast Company toasted honorees during a cocktail party in New York City on Jan. 29.
Members of the MCP 1000 community–an influential, diverse group of modern Renaissance men and women across the economy and around the globe–met at Fast Company’s World Trade Center offices, where artists Tonedeff and Taylor McFerrin performed original works created for the event.
Before the launch party, a host committee participated in a private roundtable discussion on creativity in business. MCP 1000 host committee members included Diane von Furstenberg, Warby Parker cofounder Neil Blumenthal, Foursquare CEO Dennis Crowley, GE CMO Beth Comstock, Droga5 founder David Droga, Gilt Groupe CEO Michelle Peluso, New York State Chief Digital Officer Rachel Haot, and Chris Hughes, Facebook cofounder and publisher and editor-in-chief of The New Republic.
The New York City event will be followed by a West Coast launch in San Francisco on Feb. 4. Follow Twitter hashtag #MCP1000 for news and photos from that event.
