China Builds World’s Fastest Supercomputer, The Tianhe-2

The machine, which processes 33.86 petaflops per second, has been built by the National University of Defense Technology. Tianhe-2 almost doubles the U.S. Energy Department’s Titan machine’s rate of calculations.
