FAST COMPANY: How do you use social media?
TAWHEED KADER: We don’t really talk about our company and don’t try to make it an advertisement. We just say hey, if you are a salesperson, here are five things you can do to be more successful. And it always has a little “by the way, we’re Tout, we help salespeople close more deals, send your emails, and track your emails,” and so it always gets us that linkthrough, but we always start with providing value. I think it goes back to the original thing we were talking about where we’re actually trying to forge real relationships over social media, and by doing that we can start a conversation and then tell them about our product eventually.
