Amazon’s Q1 2013 Results: Revenue Is Down But Sales Are Up

Profits at the Internet firm are down to $82 million, but sales were up 22% year on year. The retailer has trimmed running costs quite considerably, including shipping costs, and all 10 of its best-selling items are either digital or Kindle-related, the Paperwhite being Number One.
