I am currently completing my final year at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I will graduate with a double major in Political Science and Critical Social Sciences, with a minor in English.
My academic interests include, but are not limited to; politics, psychology, philosophy, cultural studies, economics, news, religious studies, leadership, international relations, debate and public speaking, photography, web 2.0, technology, and globalization.
Despite my humanities background I am rather technologically-savvy. I have been an IT intern at my college, and currently at The Century Foundation. My assignments, and my skills are varied: programming, graphic design (use of Photoshop and Illustrator), video editing (via FinalCut Pro), cinematography (I have recorded conferences, events, shows, and even the graduation ceremony at my college), computer set-up and maintenance, and then some. I am a very voracious learner and quite adaptable to the situation.
While I enjoy technology, I am hoping to have a politically-minded career, whether it is international or domestic. I believe I can combine my interests into a viable lifestyle.
