Suzanne became interested in web design after taking her first computer science course at McGill. While in school, she studied standards-based HTML and CSS, and contributed to a number of PHP-based web applications for the McGill community. In 2007, Suzanne worked on a Ruby on Rails project called VConf that was used to organize academic conferences. At Evolving Web, Suzanne is responsible for theming, user-interface functionality, and graphic design. She is skilled at creating custom WordPress themes for blogs, mini-sites, and community portals. She also creates appealing Drupal themes, a process that includes making visual mock-ups for client review, writing CSS, and doing business development. Originally from Toronto, Suzanne studied performance oboe at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music under Ted Baskin.
