Dr. Mines is an Integrative Family Physician in practice for 20 years serving thousands of patients in Washington, D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry -Nutrition at Spellman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Medical Doctorate from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her specialty as a Family Physician at Howard University Hospital and most recently, has attained her Doctorate of Integrative Medicine from Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Washington, D.C.
In her constant search for knowledge, Dr. Mines has left the safe shore of allopathic medicine to embrace integrative, complementary and alternative medicine. She has expanded her scope of family practice and as a member of the American College of Advancement of Medicine is certified in chelation therapy. She is also a member of the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy. Her goal at is to use her expertise in detoxification and nutrition to strengthen the health status and immune system of her patients and to work in an integrative manner with other practitioners to bring you, the patient, to optimum health.
