Ryan Pratt is a typical millennial who wears flip-flops to work and is always multi-tasking. He is an over-indulgent technophile and Star Wars-loving cinephile. He is a creative and an innovator.
As the Marketing Manager at MBA Focus, Ryan is not only responsible for promoting the virtual recruiting products to employers, but also helping business schools promote career services to their job-seeking candidates. His marketing plans and Web 2.o ideas have helped MBA Focus grow to now service over 38,000 employers and over 70,000 MBA students and alumni. With his help, MBA Focus has become an exclusive network where the world's top employers and talent connect.
Ryan has a specialized background in writing and marketing. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and strong background in Fine Arts (Architecture, Art History, Cinema).
Prior to joining the team at MBA Focus, Ryan gained invaluable entrepreneurial experience with the rapidly growing startup ListAfterList.com. As the VP of Marketing and minority partner, Ryan implemented business plans that drove website traffic from 0 to 3 million visitors annually and was a major reason for the 2008, 2009, and 2010 TechColumbus Innovation Awards “Outstanding Product” nominations. Ryan also works as an independently contracted movie critic for the Examiner.com. His reviews are read by thousands of cinephiles every week.
Ryan currently resides in Dublin, Ohio just minutes from: the office at MBA Focus where he works; the Scioto River where he kayaks and water skis; the studio where he filmed an infomercial for Resistance Wear (a company he would later consult for); Ohio Stadium where his football Buckeyes continue to dominate the team from up north; Flannagan’s Irish pub and pool where he plays competitive sand volleyball; Chipotle where he eats too much too often; and Best Buy where he stands in line with other fanboys for the newest Apple technology. He was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, and has spent every summer of his life at his family cottages on the Finger Lakes in upstate New York.
