Rupa Chaturvedi is an award-winning designer; product entrepreneur and CEO of Raaya Design, a product, experience & communications design consultancy based in San Francisco.
Rupa works with companies and entrepreneurs to create products and experiences that help generate new revenue streams and brand relationships. Her connection and experience to emerging markets has been instrumental in helping develop products that resonate with local cultures and users. Her designs have won her international design awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and GOOD Design Awards.
Rupa is also the President of the Raaya Foundation and has founded social-impact programs such as “Adopt a Community” to aid rural artists and “Gurukool” India's first interactive learning center.
Prior to founding Raaya; she has worked in the Education, Technology and Product Engineering domains and founded successful business ventures in the Information Design, Web Applications and Content Design space. She has been instrumental in launching several successful service brands globally and worked for global consulting brands such as Aptech, Fujitsu and Wipro. She is a photographer and also blogs on Fast Company and GOOD Magazine on innovation, design and branding.
