Beginning his career nearly two decades ago as a solicitor for the law firm of Lovell White Durrant, Richard Trevillion has become one of the leading figures in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries of Europe. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Amity Partners, Richard Trevillion focuses on financial and operational consulting for pharmaceutical companies. Specializing in corporate turnarounds, Richard Trevillion is deeply experienced in mergers and acquisitions and has served as Principal on a number of prominent corporate transactions. Richard Trevillion founded Amity Partners in 2001 after serving as Co-Director of the Healthcare Corporate Finance team at the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen from 1997 to 2000. Other positions Richard Trevillion has held throughout his career include Head of Healthcare for the Technology Corporate Finance Group at Close Brothers Corporate Finance from 2000 to 2002 and Chief Executive Officer of Meldex Partners PLC. Originally hired by Meldex Partners in April 2005 as Interim CEO, Richard Trevillion assumed fulltime executive responsibility in May 2005 and remained in his position until September 2008. During his tenure with the company, Richard Trevillion orchestrated a substantial turnaround for Meldex International. Focused on weeding out inefficiencies and streamlining the company’s operations, Richard Trevillion completely rebuilt Meldex International’s operational infrastructure, refinanced the company, and implemented new and effective growth strategies. In only three short years, Richard Trevillion transformed Meldex International into a profitable and expanding integrated specialty pharmaceuticals company with a significant presence in a number of global markets. Extensively educated, Richard Trevillion holds academic degrees in Management Science, Law and Marketing and is a fully licensed solicitor. Richard Trevillion is a graduate of the Manchester School of Management.
