Private, Sole Proprietor employees, Arts / Entertainment / Media industryThe objective of HorizonVUMusic is facilitating musicians' efforts to achieve one of their key business objectives - recognition. As Internet entrepreneurs with a passion for music, we provide an intermediary service to talented professionals in the music business. We serve musicians, sponsors and industry executives searching for talent. As a start, we have set up HorizonVUMusic to support rock, alternative, folk and country music. Perhaps one day, we will be able to extend our scope to include other genres such as jazz, R&B, world and classical music. The idea behind this independent site is that serious advanced amateur or professional musicians from around the world wanting to extend their professional recognition can submit profiles, promotional information, events and a limited number of songs which can be played or streamed by members, but not downloaded. We do not charge fees to musicians for this service. Our service is supported by fees from sponsors and industry subscribers. The postings on this site are most often supported by reliable recommendations, but even so, we review each submission. We insist on a high level of quality for submissions as a standing company policy of professionalism. We are not managers of musicians, so we do not engage in contractual agreements for or on behalf of artists. Ultimately, we strive to facilitate connections between participating musicians and resources needed to advance their career. These resources could include agents, booking services, club owners, merchandisers, or equipment providers.
