Paul Eisenstein

Vice President, Finance and Operations , The Mission Continues

Since graduating from Saint Louis University in 2005, Paul Eisenstein has focused his efforts
on bringing people of diverse backgrounds together in community service. As an AmeriCorps
member and youth program coordinator in San Francisco, Paul developed an after-school
program for over 50 children in a low-income housing development where he utilized volunteers
to successfully run programs ranging from teen empowerment groups to tutoring programs. At
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), Paul equipped over 200 volunteers with the training and skills
to be safe and effective mentors. He also led various communications and fund development
projects as a project manager at BBBS.

Paul was brought on to The Mission Continues in 2008 as its first full-time employee and
has since served as Chief Operating Officer and most recently as Vice President of Finance
and Operations. He has led the organization's program, fund development, communications,
financial, and administration efforts during key growth periods for the organization.

Outside of his professional life, Paul is working to improve the St. Louis region through various
projects. He has served as a steering committee member of the United Way’s GenNext young
professionals group and recently served as secretary for the Young Nonprofit Professionals
Network of St. Louis. In 2009, Paul was named as one of the top 30 outstanding young
professionals in the St. Louis region by the St. Louis Business Journal in its “30 under 30”

Paul is currently obtaining his master's degree in Business Administration at Washington
University in St. Louis through its Executive MBA program. He will graduate in May 2012.
