Mitch Baranowski is a writer, producer, brandologist and aspiring honky-tonker. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of BBMG, a brand innovation firm that specializes in the intersection of branding, sustainability and social purpose. Since 2003, BBMG has helped clients identify new markets, imagine new products and services, embrace culture change and drive social impact. BBMG’s recent clients include Walmart, Samsung, Brown-Forman, Seventh Generation, Clif Bar & Co. and Fair Trade USA. A frequent guest lecturer at NYU, Columbia University and Pratt Institute, Mitch got his start working for the NPR affiliate in Austin, Texas. He likes to call himself a “recovering journalist,” quick to wax rhapsodic about his favorite country music artists, from Lefty Frizzell and Loretta Lynn to Wilco and the Old 97s.
