Minto Roy is a Vancouver radio host, a published columnist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. He was named “Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2007 by the National Post. Roy writes for numerous newspapers, such as the Vancouver View, Canadian Immigrant Magazine, and the Afro-Canadian News. Roy often lends his employment and recruitment expertise and knowledge to CBC, Channel M, National Post, the Globe, and Mail as a commentator. Minto Roy is a devoted member of his community and makes frequent contributions to Big Brothers of Vancouver, Junior Achievement British Columbia, the Make a Wish Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House. Roy also offers mentorship and career consultation to new Canadian immigrants and students, helping them create successful futures in Canada. Minto Roy is also a member of the Board of Trade. Minto Roy is President of Careers Today Canada, where he serves as head Recruitment and Career Strategist. Roy is also Partner and Co-founder of RevGen, a management consulting and corporate sales partnership company. RevGen partners with small or medium sized companies, seeking to increase their existing revenue streams through the partnership. With Careers Today Canada, Roy aims to renovate the employment world by partnering with select companies to draw talented employees and source professionals from traditional recruitment sources. Although Minto Roy dedicates much of his energy to his professional career and helping others achieve success, he still enjoys spending time playing golf and other sports. Roy attended the National Policy Forums as a speaker on employment integration and immigration in Canada in 2006.
