Born in a Northern state called Acre located in the rain forest area, my father moved back to Rio de Janeiro where he left once he graduated in law school. There, I had the opportunity to study in a great catholic school. After graduating high school, instead of going straight to college, I decided to travel the world. What I thought was going to be a pit stop, wound up being a permanent stop. The opportunities I saw here at such a young age made me choose this country to build my life. The perseverance instilled by my catholic education helped me overcome every obstacle. As Randy Pausch known for the Last Lecture seminar once said “the obstacles are there for a reason”. First, I learned something I could never imagine: English. Going to college where I pursued a degree in International Business and working two jobs proved to be very important. Life is like a puzzle, each piece of it fits with the next. After working in the hospitality industry and a warehouse for an international distribution, a friend suggested that I get into real estate.
