Bio

Are you a right brain, creative thinking small business owner? Do you wish you had an analytical, business savvy counterpart to help you learn, grow, and explore/solve your problems? If so, you’re in the right place. I’m a left brain analytical with proven experience in helping small businesses grow and prosper. Some of the things I can help with include: * Getting Paid Faster - Establishing policies and procedures to keep the cash flowing in * Building a culture that inspires and motivates employees while keeping your profits in check * Understanding the impact of decisions on your bottom line * Identifying potential risks and helping you get them under control * Making your business more profitable * Provide key insights that you are currently missing * Breaking down the numbers and explaining them in a visual way so you get it! * Empowering you to make smarter decisions based on facts–not guesses * Tips and techniques for negotiating leases, contracts, and more * Bookkeeping training and mentorship My Coaching Style My coaching method probably isn’t what you’ve seen or heard about. I’m not a fluffy, feel good business coach and I’m not a “know it all” business consultant. I’ll give you advice, I’ll ask you hard questions, and I’ll pretend your business is my business. I’ll try your business on for size and tell you what I would do if I were in your shoes. My only goal is to help you succeed. I don’t have a predetermined plan to make that happen. Your business is as unique as you are. I’ll play devil’s advocate and act as a sounding board for your ideas. We won’t always agree and that’s okay… it’s actually a very good thing. You don’t need someone telling you that you are a genius all the time (don’t worry, I will give you kudos when you are!). You need someone who will give you honest feedback whether you like it or not. You can choose to disregard what I have to say…I’m not always right and that’s not my job. My job is to make you really think through your decisions. Often, we’ll end up with a solution that’s far better than either one of us would have reached on our own.

Personal slogan or motto

Coaching for Creative Business Owners

Areas of expertise

Business Coaching, Consulting, Management Accounting, Small Business Operations, Human Resources. My passion lies in helping creative entrepreneurs who are growing their businesses while having fun doing what they love. I’m a left brain thinker with a strong appreciation for the right brain population. I thrive on the energy and passion of Creatives and have found that great things can happen when left and right merge. Your creativity combined with my mind for numbers and patterns is like chocolate and peanut butter! My background in accounting and business management comes in handy when I am analyzing your business; My sense of humor and light-hearted attitude comes in handy when I am explaining it all to you! I like to ask targeted questions and raise issues that you and your creative team might overlook while doing “the fun part” of your business. I love playing devil’s advocate and I’ll use that approach to help you make informed, well-rounded decisions. I’ll listen to your point of view, experiences, company culture, and goals and keep those top of mind as I provide guidance. I’ll actively poke holes in your theories, when necessary.
