By the time Josh McGlinn graduated college, he had already been promoted to Director of Advertising at VPC creating promotional materials as well as maintaing and updating the company website. With a BS in Marketing Management already under his belt, he headed back to school to concentrate on his new found passion for the internet. After moving to North Carolina, his love for design and multimedia led him to a job at UNCG where he was Senior ITC before eventually being promoted to Assistant Director. The work at UNCG consisted of developing online classes and interactive modules designed to help engage the user and reinforce educational material. During his three years there the team grew from three to thirty people and they had developed over eighty online interactive classes, each with their own look and feel. During his time at UNCG he was encouraged to continue freelance work in order to stay on top of trends and new technologies. Networking with various agencies and firms allowed him to see behind the curtain at various processes of many well respected businesses. Upon leaving UNCG, he started his own design firm, MCG Studio. Since that time he has worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as local businesses. His work involves design, development, and interactive media, as well as branding, marketing strategies, and of course - problem solving.
