Bio

I started in print and illustration as the Graphics Editor and political cartoonist for a small newspaper. Since then I've blueprinted stage illusions, designed children's clothes, worked at ad agencies, run my own company and worked for 6 startups. I'm at my 7th one now. Back in 1997 I sat down with HTML for Dummies one weekend and built my first web page. I've been working in interactive design ever since. I came back from the first Flash Forward conference in 2000 a true believer in Flash. Every year since then I've focused more on interactive work. Currently I'm the Director of Creative Development at Panamedia Group, where I handle project management, creative direction, web design, and actionscripting, as well as acting as the interface between the design and development departments (I can speak in.NET, SQL, PHP, MySQL, enough to do light development and to understand what our devs are doing). I'm very active in the design community, I run one of the largest Graphic Design Meetups and maintain a design blog. I'm also active in the entrepreneur space, and am working to build up the entrepreneurial community in St. Louis.
