Johan Reinhoudt

Johan Reinhoudt is President and CEO, Principal Consultant of Collaborative Primacy™ Life Sciences Consulting (CPLS Consulting). He is a practical business visionary with deep industry knowledge of the life sciences and healthcare industry. He also has an invaluable background in living and working internationally. Johan gained significant intercultural and professional experience by living and working in the Netherlands, France, Germany and the United States. He has demonstrated success in global executive leadership roles, including the development and management of large multinational and geographically distributed and diverse teams.
Johan has a passion for the life sciences industry and for contributing to its leadership, by fostering innovation capabilities and streamlined operations, enabling the efficient development of innovative therapies, devices/deliveries in the treatment of unmet medical needs.
He collaborates with business leaders to increase business value by turning complex challenges into organizational effectiveness, mainly through clinical development operations performance management, leadership development, innovation capability generation and sponsor-contract research organization (CRO) interface consulting. Johan is based in the USA, but consults with organizations around the world.
A graduate of the University of Leiden, the Netherlands (B.Sc. in Anesthesiology), Johan is certified in General Management by the INSEAD-CEDEP business school in Fontainebleau, France and by the Institute of Social Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is also certified in Executive Coaching (CMC) by the Behavioral Coaching Institute in New York, NY.
