Jeff De Cagna likes to ask questions, especially the questions no one else wants to ask. As chief strategist and founder of Principled Innovation LLC, Jeff helps organizations think differently about the future, by asking challenging, difficult and thought-provoking questions. Jeff has spent his entire career working with non-profit membership associations, first as a staff member for international, national and regional organizations and, for the last six years, as a speaker, author and strategic advisor. He is the executive producer of the Principled Innovation Blog and podcast at http://www.principledinnovationblog.com, the author of numerous articles and co-author of the groundbreaking book, We Have Always Done It That Way: 101 Things About Associations We Must Change. He is currently working on a new book, Embracing the Revolution: Ten Burning Questions for 21st Century Association Leaders, which will be available in the spring of 2009. Jeff is a member of The Center for Association Leadership Board of Directors, just one of the many volunteer contributor roles in which he has served for the last decade and a half. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Jeff earned a master's degree at Harvard University and he is currently completing an executive certificate in strategy and innovation at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
